I am a theoretical physicist, computer scientist, and writer.Â
I am interested in the foundations of physics, a broad subject which deals with fundamental questions in fields ranging from cosmology, gravitation, and quantum physics to statistical mechanics, complexity theory, and AI. I am an advocate for interdisciplinarity, as I believe it the only viable approach for a true holistic understanding of the universe and its purpose. My research has so far mostly focused on understanding the nature of gravity: I have worked on the minimal gravitational model of dark matter, gravitational atoms, graviton-photon oscillations and graviton detection.
As a writer, I maintain the (Italian-language) digital narrative project called "Il Dio Idiota" (The Idiot God). This is a long-form fantasy epic with a dual human-machine genesis: the narrative structure of the story is decided by me, while its syntactic structure is left to a Generative AI model. The story pays tribute to old-school pen-and-paper role-playing games.
I have worked as Lead Data Scientist for companies like Deloitte, Pfizer, and Zeta. My software projects can be found here or at my github page.
